Dr. Harry X. Hu
DMD, BMD, PhD
Oral Phycision & General Dentist
Dr. Hu's practice includes, but not limited to, operative, crown/bridge and veneers, various prosthetics and implant restorations, surgical extractions and other periodontal or surgical procedures, treatment of oral infections, simplified orthodontic treatment etc. Dr. Hu's clinical focus is on utilizing multiple cutting-edge digital technology in dentistry and teamwork practice to provide optimal oral care to patients.
Dr. Hu earned his dental Medicine degree at Peking University School of Stomatology in China in 1996. DR. HU continued his advanced residency training for GPR, and subsequently in Prosthodontics and Implantology in the Department of Stomatology at PEKING UNIVERSITY 2nd Teaching Hospital. During the 7 year period, Dr. Hu practiced Hosptial-based Dentistry as Resident and further Attending Oral physician, as well as complex prosthodontic rehabilitation and dental esthetics for various senior patients. Dr. Hu started practicing dental implants and restorations in 1999.
Dr. Hu obtained one year academic training in oral/maxillofacial growth and development and pediatric dentistry at Iwate Medical University Dental School in Japan in 2002.
Dr. Hu received his PhD in Oral Biology and Biomaterials at the Ohio State Unversity College of Dentistry, where he gained additional advanced training in CAD/CAM Restorative system, Technology of Color and Appearance Matching in Dentistry, and Maxillofacial Prosthetics. He started his orthodontic residency training in 2010 at University of Illinois at Chicago Colledge of Dentistry, where he received Invisalign Certificate. DR. HU was awarded his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2015.
Dr.Hu has published over 20 articles or abstracts in peer-reviewed scientific journals and/or at dental and medical conferences. Dr. He has been a member of American Dental Association and Massachusetts Dental Society, International & American Association for Dental Research, American Association of Orthodontics, American Anaplstology Association. He is a reviewer for over 10 dental and medical scientific journals i.g. Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry, American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentalfacial Orthopedics.
When not working, Dr. Hu enjoys music,, playing basketball, spending time with his family and friends.
